Kathleen Kimmel is a registered nurse and a certified health care executive with both clinical and health care strategic leadership management experience. She has over 15 years of experience with enterprise data warehouses, analytics-based performance improvement, business intelligence, data visualization, business performance improvement analytics, data governance, and clinical transformation. She has a strong background in product and project management and is a certified Scrum Master (Agile Project Management).
Kathleen’s prior experience includes health care policy with the US Department of Health and Human Services, working with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Care Information Technology (ONC). Her experience also includes Intelligence consulting with IBM. She served as the Vice President of Nursing Informatics at McKesson, Chief Nursing Officer at MedeAnalytcs, Senior Faculty at University of Colorado Graduate School, and Vice President Engagement Executive at Health Catalyst.
Kathleen has also served on the Board of Directors for the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the Board of Directors for Integrating the Health Care Enterprise (IHE).
Kathleen holds a BS in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration/MBA from Duke University.
