Account Director
Amber Glende is an Account Director for Point-of-Care Partners (POCP) supporting Life Sciences clients. Amber is an experienced account director and client success manager who brings over 17 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and SaaS industries. Prior to joining POCP, Amber has extensive experience in DTC marketing, brand, and digital strategy, customer experience (CX), market access, and most recently supporting life science companies in leveraging AI technology and a bespoke platform to better understand market insights and accelerating decision-making across the drug development lifecycle.
Amber is relationship driven, goal-oriented, and passionate about connecting with clients in genuine way to create high-value partnerships. A team player with an aptitude for problem-solving, managing complex projects, and delivering results. Throughout her career, Amber has held client-facing roles, strategizing with clients to better understand their business objectives, pain points, and critical events to drive relevant solutions.
Amber lives in Southern California with her husband Duncan and rescued greyhound Tre’Quan. Amber enjoys the outdoors, running, hiking the local trails and golfing. She also enjoys wine tastings, hosting friends and family, and football (both NFL and EPL).
Amber graduated from California State University of Long Beach, with a BS in Marketing. While at Long Beach, she was a Division 1 athlete as a member of the soccer team and spent 6 months studying internal Marketing at InHolland University of Applied Sciences in Haarlem, Netherlands.
