Traffic Manager

Growing specialized pharmaceutical agency and consulting firm is seeking a Traffic Manager to coordinate production between account and creative staff in a growing dynamic healthcare market. The Traffic Manager thus contributes substantially to client satisfaction through competent project management and will bring previous experience and knowledge to our team to streamline processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Works collaboratively with account managers/directors, designers, writers, editors and subject matter experts to create and manage project timelines and prioritize deliverables for the team
  • Creates, maintains and issues weekly status reports as well as daily, annual and weekly schedules
  • Orchestrates internal resources and freelance help in accordance with project specifications and timelines
  • Drives and manages the workflow of all team members to ensure the best quality of the deliverables
  • Engages Account Management Teams and others about issues to maintain or exceed standards of quality relative to client deliverables
  • Collaborates with staff and freelance team members and provides ongoing guidance to the project team regarding items including but not limited to structure, scope of content, technology requirements, art and design and development needs of the project to ensure that team members are meeting the product’s marketing and creative goals
  • Leads a weekly project planning meeting with designers, editors, writers and account management team to prioritize the deliverables for the week ahead
  • Manages client driven change orders to revise schedules, updates requirement documents and communicates changes to those involved
  • Checks and approves versions of the project at various stages, including occasional print proof approvals

To Succeed You Will Need:

  • Traffic management in a creative agency experience
  • Working knowledge of design, editorial, technical and production processes
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience a plus as is experience with medical/regulatory/legal reviews and referencing requirements
  • Basecamp experience a plus
  • Must be a self-directed professional, able to multi-task and lead cross-functional teams
  • Must have strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills

Flexible hour contract position initially with possible movement to salary for the right candidate.  This is a work from home with extensive use of Skype and other online tools. Initial requirements are 2-4 hours per day depending on company workload and could expand over time.
