Amy Krane

Amy Krane is a consultant with Point-of-Care Partners (POCP) and currently serves as a Use Case Coordinator for the HL7 CodeX Prior Authorization in Oncology work. Amy brings her knowledge of clinical data, payer and provider workflows, and healthcare IT market dynamics to this role. She is an expert convener, with a curiosity-driven approach to building networks of SMEs.

Before joining POCP, Amy worked in product marketing, strategic account management, and business development roles throughout a multi-decade health IT career. In her most recent role with Availaty, she managed the company’s relationships with state and regional health information exchanges and the newly established national QHINs. She was a member of the Diameter Health team acquired by Availity for its clinical data expertise and products focused on clinical data normalization for use cases such as HEDIS reporting and risk adjustment. Previously, at Evicore, she was marketing lead for its automated prior authorization and clinical decision support products, moving to that role as part of the acquisition of QPID Health. QPID was a spinout of Mass General Hospital, and a market innovator that used natural language processing to extract relevant data into specialty-specific clinical workflows.

Amy is based in the hills of Western Massachusetts, where she is an avid cyclist and gardener. She earned her BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
