
Haley Borusas is a Medical Writer for Point-of-Care Partners (POCP), supporting life sciences clients with clear, evidence-based scientific communications. She brings a strong foundation in pharmacology, clinical practice, and clinical research, beginning her career in patient care and later supporting the oversight of investigational drugs in Phase 1–3 clinical trials before transitioning into medical communications.
Haley’s medical writing experience spans ophthalmology, rare disease, hematologic oncology, interstitial lung disease, medical devices, immunizations, and additional therapeutic areas. She has developed a broad range of scientific and medical affairs deliverables that bring complex data to life, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, onboarding and training modules, publication plans, and internal education materials. She is highly skilled in navigating MLR review processes within Veeva. Before joining POCP, Haley earned the Certified Medical Publication Professional (CMPP) credential to strengthen further her ability to support clients in their publication planning needs.
Haley earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Wyoming and holds pharmacist licensure in both Colorado and Wyoming. She lives in Colorado and enjoys weightlifting, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
