Brian is a senior consultant at Point-of-Care Partners working on various projects related to pharmacy workflows and interoperability.
Brian is a recognized expert in multiple areas of healthcare information technology. He combines deep technical and analytical expertise along with strategic and industry insights to effectively advise and serve clients. His specific focus on aligning product strategy & execution with overcoming customer pain points helps clients establish sustainable, long-term revenue growth.
Brian has held several leadership roles but perhaps gained the most significant industry experience in his leadership role at McKesson where he rolled out the Medicare Part D TrOOP Facilitator model. Brian played a central role working with multiple industry players, such as NCPDP, NACDS, CMS, the largest PBMs, Pharmacy chains, and vendors and was pivotal in the development of multiple solutions that met competing requirements across the industry and government. Brian was able to define a workable strategy and drive the execution and implementation of an industry-wide solution still in use today.
Brian earned a Master of Science degree in Decision Sciences from Georgia State University and has extensive experience in Pharmacy, PBM, Hospital, Provider, Opioid, Medical and Pharmacy Real-time Transaction Workflow and Processing, Transition of Care, and Provider Data.
