Brian Root, PharmD

Brian Root, PharmD, is a Medical Director on the Life Sciences team at Point-of-Care Partners. He supports life sciences organizations in developing and executing medical strategy, with a focus on aligning clinical data, health IT capabilities, and real-world care delivery.

Brian’s experience spans healthcare systems, retail pharmacy, and medical communications, giving him a practical understanding of clinical workflows and EHR-driven solutions. He advises clients on translating complex clinical and technical concepts into actionable, compliant solutions that support patient care and inform brand strategy.

Brian holds a Doctor of Pharmacy and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Studies from Northeastern University. Outside of his professional pursuits, he enjoys golf, basketball, and supporting the New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills. He is based in Brooklyn, NY.
